As they say, The Mysterious Bookshop is “The World’s oldest and greatest Mystery fiction speciality store.”
The store has existed since 1979 and is the oldest mystery specialist bookstore in America. It specializes in Mystery Fiction and all its subgenres, including Detective, Crime, Hardboiled, Thrillers, espionage and Suspense.

The store stocks the finest selection of new mystery hardcovers, paperbacks and periodicals. They also have a superb collection of signed Modern First Editions, Rare/ Collectible hardcovers and Sherlockiana.
They have what they call the Bibliomystery series, which features novellas by some of the biggest authors in the genre that have been written exclusively for them. They also publish limited editions of books by authors like Michael Connelly, James Ellroy and Lee Child.
They publish a weekly update for their patrons highlighting the best in mystery fiction, including information on upcoming signings and events, new releases, their crime book subscription clubs and recently acquired rare books.

Located in Tribeca in New York, the store is a booklover’s delight with its well-laid displays, warm interiors and a feeling of being in a book paradise surrounded by books on all sides, Mystery ones in this case.
